VAT is not included in the prices shown on the website.

Customers in Ireland.
VAT on products sold in Ireland is currently set at 23%.

Customers in Northern Ireland
If you provide a valid NI VAT number for your company, VAT is 0% rated. You may be asked to provide your company VAT registration documents and/or proof of ID.

Customers in the UK GB/IOM
The UK should be zero rated also but is a bit more complicated, if you are in the UK give us a call and we can discuss your requirements.

  • Bankers Draft Cheque (Products are only released after cheque has cleared)
  • Credit Card (subject to 2% surcharge)
  • Debit Card
FINANCE

Redmount do not offer finance directly but we can also refer you to a few finance companies we work with depending on if you are business or personal customer and the value. Alternatively, if you wish to make your own finance arrangements we are able to provide written quotations and other details that may be required.

CAN YOU SHIP TO ...?

We only provide shipping to Ireland and the UK, if you want to organise shipping to Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, South America, Canada the USA or anywhere else in the world we are happy to give you the weight and size of the packaging.

DELIVERY & INSTALATION

Prices shown do NOT include delivery or installation these services can be provided but cost varies depending on location.

HYDRAULIC OIL

Hydraulic oil is not included as a standard component with any lift being collected or delivered.

Should you chose our installation or commissioning service, we exclusively use high-quality, reputable brand-name hydraulic oil. We typically use #32 hydraulic oil, occasionally opting for #46 depending on specific requirements and circumstances.

TRADE INS

We keep our margins low to offer you great prices but that means most of the time you would get a better deal selling your old equipment privately on sites like DoneDeal or Facebook Marketplace than we could offer you.

From our own observations, second hand equipment sells easily when advertised properly online. If you have kept it clean and working, and the buyer can see it working and take it apart themselves, expect it to sell in a couple of days for a good price.

SECOND HAND EQUIPMENT

As above… Very occasionaly we have second hand equipment but in general we do not deal in second hand equipment.

In the latter case this guarantee will only apply to new or unused good. The date on the  purchase invoice shall be deemed the warranty begin date. The above guarantee is nonetheless given by the Company subject to the following conditions and limitations.
    a) The Company shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, failure to maintain, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working condition, failure to follow the Company’s instructions (whether oral or written), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without the Company’s approval.
    b) The Company shall be under no liability in respect of Goods operated or stored under adverse conditions (such as outside installations or in areas used for steam cleaning or pressure washing etc.) unless the same is otherwise specified in the relevant equipment manual.
    c) The Company shall be under no liability in respect of Goods operated or stored under adverse conditions (such as outside installations or in areas used for steam cleaning or pressure washing etc.) unless the same is otherwise specified in the relevant equipment manual.
    d) The Company shall be under no liability under the above guarantee (or in any other warranty, condition or guarantee) if the total price for the Goods has not been paid by the due date for payment.
9.2 Subject as expressly provided in these Conditions, and except where the Goods are sold to a person dealing as a consumer (within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9.3 Condition of the Goods or their failure to correspond with specification must be notified in writing to the Company immediately upon discovery of the defect or failure. If the Customer does not so notify the Company, the Customer shall not be entitled to reject the Goods and must bear any extra costs and expenses that result in resolving the situation. If the quality or condition of the Goods or their failure to meet specification is notified to the Company in accordance with these conditions, the Company shall be entitled to replace the Goods, or the part in question, free of charge or, at the Company’s sole discretion, refund to the Customer the price of the Goods for a proportionate part of the price, but the Company shall have no further liability to the Customer.
9.4 Except in the respect of death or personal injury caused by the Company’s negligence, the Company shall not be liable to the Customer by reason of any representation or any implied warranty condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (and whether caused by the negligence of the Company, its employees, distributors or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply and/or installation of the Goods or their use or resale by the Customer.
9.5 The Company shall not be liable to the Customer or deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of the Company’s obligations in relation to the Goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
9.6 Warranty does not cover consumable parts, which wear over time during normal use. In the case of vehicle lifting equipment, it is the Customers responsibilty to ensure equipment is in full working order, serviced and maintained, before use, (even in the case of Redmount installation) in accordance with the service schedule outlined in the Installation Guide.
9.7 In all cases warranty is for parts only and does not include labour. The Company will supply (under the terms of the warranty) the correct part, which it will be the Customers responsibilty to fit. With agreement from the Company the item under warranty may be sent back to the Company, at the Customers expense, for repair. The Customer will be liable for the cost of shipping (both ways) and any labour charges incurred, but not the part required to repair. Exceptions may be made where the Company installs an item of equipment, in which case warranty may include parts, plus labour to fit parts. This has to be agreed, in writing, prior to Installation.
9.10 The Customer must retain the original invoice as proof of purchase from the Company, and commencement of warranty. The warranty contract is between the Company and the Customer, and no third-parties. Should the Customer sell an item within the warranty period to a third-party, the Company’s warranty obligations cease from that moment.
